We are not going to help Ukraine. We will not give them any more military equipment. And in any potential peace negotiation, Trump will side with Russia. What do they get out of this?

Not sure if you know this or Trump knows this, but that's a pretty provocative act against Russia. For that to be worth the paper it is written on Ukraine cannot be in Russian control.
