Lost a True Tiger

We lost a true Clemson Tiger! Charlie Timmerman who was a renowned vet in Aiken SC and a huge Clemson supporter and a great friend has passed. Those of you in Aiken and many of you in Clemson knew him. He was as fine a man as you would ever want to meet. He saved the life of my Boykin and many other animals over his career. Say a prayer for this true Tiger and his family. He will be sorely missed by the Aiken community and Clemson Tigers far and wide. RIP my friend.

That makes me sad. He was our family vet for years when I was growing up.

His funeral is Saturday 3/1/25 at Cedar Creek Church in Aiken at 2:00PM. Visitation with family immediately after. That’s a huge church. Probably not big enough. Charlie was a living legacy and his loss has been felt across this entire community.

Yes he was. The funeral was packed. Cedar Creek is huge and it was almost full. The family had a buffet of shrimp, oysters and numerous other appetizers for all after the service. There was a lot of orange in the room. William and Michael Dean Perry were there too!! It was a special day for a special man.
