Question to anyone that knows about these NFL contracts, Is that $9.5 million signing bonus deducted from the total of the $15.5 million???? +1 for correct answer!!!

It is deducted, the total contract value is the 15 million over 4 years.

Thank you and + the 1!!! I hope that at the end of his 4th year, that he will still have at least $10 mil of that invested for his future after FB. I hope that all of our Tigers didn't work as hard as they worked just to have a lot of money to blow on theirs and their family wants, and they will invest for their future after the NFL, bc the NFL will pass them by a lot sooner than they think after they get there....

Yes, the signing bonus is part of the total, but it's all paid up front. The remainder is split over the years of the contract and isn't guaranteed.

choose to come back for your senior year, add a 15-0 national championship season culminating in a dominating win over Alabama, then get drafted in the first round and sign a deal with a $9 MM guarantee?
