Let me tell you, being converted into a steer is no joke.

Don't sweat it they said. No big deal they said.
It's been five days and still feels a little bit like someone took a pickle ball paddle to my particulars.
For my fellow steers, how long before you began to feel bullish again?
Go Tigers.

It's been over 40 years for me, so I don't remember much. I do remember the young male assistant that prepped me for the knife and the caring look in his eyes, I think he had sugar in his shoes. Too answer your qwestion, 2 days

It’s been 30 years but mine was done on a Wednesday and I took Thursday off from work and went back to work being very cautious on Friday. Took it easy over the weekend and was back to normal by the end of the weekend. My doctor gave me very good advice to basically remain sedentary and provide lots of support for the first 24-36 hours and that may have made the difference. Most of the guys I knew then that had problems tried to do normal lifting and work the next day and they paid the price for it.

I was a wuss and passed out when they did mine in the doctor's office so I had to go in the hospital the next week and be put to sleep. After a week or so it was fine and back to normal.

Was not too bad till the ex was not thinking and plopped down on my lap. After a day or so the sack filled with blood and it hurt like crazy. He gave me something, don’t remember what, been a good while now, but after a few days I was good to go.
Take it easy for a few days is my best advice.

It’s been many years but I remember this- for a week I had to sit down to take a leak because the doctor told me not to lift more than ten pounds.
