Dabo is one of them.
Some of you want to fire Dabo.

Most want coaching changes to offensive side of the ball. Very few are calling for Dabo to be replaced.

Some (me included) wanted to see a new OL coach when Streeter was still here. He was hamstrung with the OL and DJU. No win situation for him.

Agree. Lived through the West and Bowden years. Dabo will win at minimum 9 games this year. That would be an all time best for Bowden.

but he needs to stop playing with one arm tied behind his back.
Clemson is no longer a national contender. Dabo had this program at the top for several years, all the momentum in the world, and then fumbled it. Let it go, but poor decisions.
He can adjust but he won't. Clemson will be a nice top 20 program for the next few years, but that's it.
I guess that is the goal now. No longer contending for the top. And Dabo's cult is content with that.

As long as people do not lose sight of how hard it is to win a Championship, all is well. There have been 5 different winners in the 6 years since we won in 18 and it could easily be 6 in 7 this year. There are so many variables and unknowns that having won before does not mean you will ever win a Natty again. Being in the hunt is what separates the haves from the have nots and we are still a have.

it's the 4+ season trend of how Clemson performs against average + teams.
we have a sub .500 record vs P5/4 teams that finish with 8 or more wins since 2021............and the majority of those wins have come from our conference. Our OOC w/ the same criteria is atrocious over that span.

Riley build his résumé in a conference not known for defense. Since he has been here, any team with a pulse on defense gives us fits. Very frustrating to watch an offense be so inept against a good defense . And plus, remember when Riley‘s high-powered offense met Georgia in the national title game, they were unable to do much then.

I don't think that is the offense we are utilizing. What you are talking about is more like what TCU ran last night and our offense looks nothing like that one.

But we can’t use 2015-2020 as a reason why we won’t fire our head coach. Again I don’t want him fired and I hope he can bring us back to greatness again but let us continue to hover around 9-3 the next couple of years then yeah I will absolutely be wanting a change. Sometimes the coach needs a change of scenery as well as the team.
I mean he’s half way through this decade and we have been slightly above mediocre. This was supposed to be the year we get back. Well unless this team responds to this loss we will be back at 9-3.

I think, speaking for myself, I want to see Clemson take advantage of the portal and upgrade their roster like literally everyone else…
I wonder how happy Dabo is and wonder if he enjoys putting himself and his team at a disadvantage. I don’t think he can enjoy the game at all with the way it is now, and the way it directly opposes his belief system.
Maybe change, or do something else? It ain’t working.

It would be nice to score more than 10 points against solid opponents in season openers once every 5 years or so. His teams have been abysmal against really good teams this decade. We’ve not been solid since those last accomplishments. Been in a do-loop since then. Winning the ACC doesn’t carry weight in College football anymore until the conference is better from top to bottom.
