Always love how thin skinned and whiny a bunch of you are. "How dare they say anything negative about Clemson," even after a blowout loss.
It was a mistake filled loss. Fix the mistakes, and Clemson wins the game comfortably. Need to tackle better and block better especially for some key players who were supposedly good. Some players are playing lazy right now. Play the freshmen who have talent who want to play like Parker and Brown. Bench or the players who are having a bad day immediately. Linebacker play was terrible. Pass protection could have been a lot better and given Klubnik more time to find a receiver.

Klubnick is a dual threat QB. Dual threats are less likely to let the play develop as they're ready to use their legs. Not saying that's wrong, but seems as if you sign a QB, you develop an offense which plays to their strengths.

He literally had Clemson as a dark horse to go to the playoffs before the game. He said the Seminoles were overhyped and that the ACC is Clemson's. He's a reporter and calls it like he sees it. Clemson's not a good football team right now, and it's getting worse every year.

We knew that this day would come for those programs that are not awash in money and assembling a yearly "payroll portal roster".
The ethical standards and rules have been thrown out of the window, and this is what we are left with.
I hope they all enjoy the ashes after the fire dies down.
Clemson, and the other programs not able to run a $16M/year player payroll, e.g., Ohio State, Texas A&M, can get back to the TRUE SPIRIT of college football.
I for one, will welcome that day, as I really was never really interested in seeing Clemson play in a professional, NFL minor league system.

I feel the same way you do about the state of college football. It’s no longer an amateur game. However, the bell cannot be un-rung. College is now and forever a professional league. Teams with the largest amount of dollars to spend will have the best rosters. We either start playing within the rules or get left behind. Which, is happening. The product were used to seeing on the field just isn’t there. College football has become the NFL minus salary caps. He portal and NIL has made powerhouses out of decent teams. FSU is loaded and probably set to contend for a national title. All because they decided to follow the rules and build an instant contender. We’re left holding our hats asking what happened.

portal. Last i heard he was okay with it but just hasn't seen the need or room to use it. In order to make room for a transfer you have to have an extra or eliminate someone's scholarship. Bama, UGA, FSU, OSU's of the world don't really have a problem with doing that so they use it gladly and just tell the kids "that's life." It is an ethical issue and do you sell your soul for the sake of a "W?" In order for him to be able to use it he would need to keep a scholarship or two vacant every year. Which is possible I guess but probably hard to make yourself do.

The OL personnel problem (ability of the players in the OL room) has been fixed.
Next step: We need to assign co-starters at both LT and RT, instead of just at LT. Also, assign co-starters at RG.
WR room remains a work in progress; two super WR recruits are heading towards Death Valley. I’m betting that the combination of improved play from our current WRs and the arrival of these two new studs will signal the sequel to WR University.

Media consistently overrates the big name teams at the start of the season.
Refer to aTm and Miami last year, and LSU and (gulp) us this year.
Neither LSU nor we are burnt toast for the rest of 2023, but a final Top 10 ranking for either of us would be a shocker.

I wouldn't worry much about Klatt's opinion. He still has concussion symptoms from when we beat Colorado 70 - 3 in the Big 12 championship game. Mackiepoo was still mad about the previous Big 12 Championship game when we gave the game to them.

If anyone would know about being marginally irrelevant it should be Joel Klatt. 3 starter at QB for Colorado on teams that went 20-18 during his tenure.(Yawn) Klatt passed for 7700 yards for 46 touchdowns and a pesky 33 interceptions.
