Do you guys hate one school more? Or, would you rather beat one school more?
With how the college football landscape has changed so much in the last 5 years I have my own thoughts, but I am curious what you guys think?
My Clemson buddies say they now hate Georgia more and want to beat the Dawgs more - at least the majority feel that way.
2023 should be another great year!

I think GA is still jealous of Clemson's success in the playoff era. GA has had a great run but not as good as Clemson and Alabama. I think I would rather beat Carolina.

Losing to South Carolina makes us look bad. It's embarrassing. Playing them is almost a no win situation. We beat them and no one notices; if they beat us it makes them look "big time" and everyone notices.
Beating the Dogs always means more.
I don't care for either school or fanbase. But at least UGA has done something, and won a bunch of games.

I met a guy that was a UGA fan (I had on a Clemson jacket) at a concert in NJ Saturday and he bought me a beer. We talked football, he went to the game in Chatlotte last year, and I was very appreciative and thanked him.
First time I ever got a free beer from a UGA fan that wasn't thrown!!

I love all our opponents …. It is our opponents who provide the stuff of perfect seasons.
Hate is not why I tune in to watch our Tigers.
My interest, though, is greater when we tee it up with Georgia.

I've always preferred to beat GA, but I'm from GA. Grew up in SC. As I see it, if we lose to SC, we are probably irrelevant that year anyway. If we beat GA, we MIGHT BE somebody.

friends here on Lake Murray are Bulldogs. I just wish we could play more often at least in football.
As for the Gamecocks, again some of my closest friends are Carolina alumni, so I don't really hate the school. I just want to beat them in our sports' contests.
A little perspective: I've been in Columbia for over 50 years now, since I completed military service, and I'm not a hermit. Therefore, it would be nearly impossible to live in this area that long and not have friends, who support other programs.

I was born in Anderson to a Clemson family. I also lived in the low country for ten years of my adult life during the fear the thumb era. I was harrased by UGA fans my entire life including by adults as a small child.
I pull for the Coots against UGA.
I pull for Ohio State over UGA.
I would pull for North Korea over UGA.
