One of the most important things Dabo can say at the end of his coaching career is that he did it his way. At that same time during his head coaching career all the talking heads continued to say that he couldn't do it without a continuous use of the transfer portal like all the other D-1 head coaches were doing. But,

Dabo has showed them all how wrong they were with a very limited use of the portal. Dabo has also proven them all wrong by taking 4 of his teams to play in 4 national championship games and winning two national championships with a very good chance of playing for another national championship in 2025-2026, and he has done it all HIS WAY!!!

IMP that is why we never hear of Dabo responding to whatever the talking heads have to say about himself or his FB teams, and it's because his record says all that needs to be said about his time as a college FB HC. If Dabo would've only won one NCG during his time at Clemson, that is one more than over half of the college FB head coaches in the country of all time...
