What’s the world coming to when even a white male billionaire can’t get a fair shake…?
Whether the trial was in NYC or not, a jury found him liable…unanimously…even with one juror who admitted he gets his news from an alt-right podcast. The only travesty here is that he was never tried in a criminal court. The guy is a sexual predator and is finally getting just a very small taste of the pain he has deserved for a very long time.
There’s not a single one of you with a daughter who would allow them to be alone with the guy for 10 seconds.

I said about a year ago that Trump was likely going to spend 2023 losing in courtrooms...because the hard part has always been getting him into one. Do that, and he usually goes down like a prize fighter with a glass jaw.
He's definitely off to a booming start. It honestly sounds like rather than march him out and maybe get their client charged with perjury when he rambles on spraying lies out as if from a firehose as he is so wont to do, his lawyers just decided to take the L...and pay up. Five million is pocket change for Donald, but perjury charges wouldn't just hurt him here, it could badly hurt him in any number of criminal cases that are looming on his horizon.
His lawyers called zero witnesses. They presented no defense. That speaks volumes. Especially since this was right as Donald was making noises about coming in and "setting the record straight."
They seemed to want no part of that. And that's the problem with continually kicking the can down the road. Eventually you run out of road.

Who are they supposed to call to prove something didnt happen? The entire case is ridiculous but trying to find legitimate eye witnesses to disprove the charges is impossible at this point. I suppose they could have brought witnesses to undermine her credibility or make her look crazy, which is the typical route taken for stuff like this, but they probably assumed no normal person would find adequate evidence of anything happening. Obviously they failed to take into account that someone can say whatever they want happened 30 years ago and if you cant prove it didn't you're guilty in NYC. This is a warning to anybody who takes on DC because they can always find someone to make an accusation like this. Meanwhile the believe all women crowd couldn't give a rats ### about Tara Reades accusations. Imagine that.

You still haven't explained why the "unrelated party" testimony should have been inadmissible. Do you know who the unrelated parties were, what their testimony was, and what rule of evidence should have barred the evidence?
You say you don't agree with the judge's decision about it. But can you explain why you don't agree with it with any specificity whatsoever?
Because otherwise your opinion is based on nothing, and there's no way you'd express an opinion based on nothing.

The DOJ has still not released or prosecuted a list of the "John's" that participated in the Epstein Island sexcapades. Somehow the DOJ was able to successfully prosecute Ghislaine Maxwell for child sex trafficking without identifying (or prosecuting) any of the men (other than a dead Epstein) that participated in the actual sex acts. I'm guessing those "John's" are some mighty rich/powerful people that are getting away with real crimes because they seem to be on the "untouchable" side of our two tier justice system. Probably friends in good standing with the DC political elite....
I sure wish the media would spend some real effort to expose these Epstein criminals and for once force some equal justice instead of spending all their time generating echo chamber narratives to satisfy their ideological masters.

Epstein is dead (allegedly) and Maxwell refused to bargain. I guess you have the girls themselves, but nobody seems to believe them (see Dershowitz and Trump allegations.) If anyone wants a book recommendation, the Julie Brown book is really good. Goes into good detail regarding the Florida DA (Trump's Secretary of Labor) cover up and his sweetheart deal.
