Is UGA really that good?

Dec 5, 2021, 1:48 PM

We’re their best win and they didn’t even score an offensive TD against us. They don’t have another current top 20 win. Alabama crushed them after barely beating a mediocre Auburn team. Yes they’ve crushed most of their other opponents but other than Alabama they haven’t faced a top team.

No. Barely beat our worst team in years. Protected by playing in the soft-as-Charmin SEC Least. Totally exposed and routed when finally playing a decent team.

That so called SEC Least would beat the entire ACC ranked 1-7.

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that UofSC

scored 0.0 points against Clemson’s worst team in over a decade.

LOL the chickens beat Auburn. And Florida!

Dec 5, 2021, 2:14 PM

and Florida CRUSHED Tennessee. How embarrassing.

And toothless UT fan has blocked out the UT loss to Pitt already.***

They have a 350lb defensive tackle so they must be good.***

I have said all year that UGA got benefit of doubt

Dec 5, 2021, 2:00 PM

by playing in the weakest division of college football.

We hire defense was freakishly good but they did not play an offense that could put pressure on them. Their D-line is built like Saban’s d-line of 2013-2016. Big horses that wear down. Saban used the game plan we used against him in 2016 to wear down that front much like we did to Mount Cody. Up tempo w no subs. Keep those fat boys on the field and make them run sideline to sideline.

Now with that said, you have have the horse to execute it and Bama did just like we did 6 years ago.

UGA is good but they were not unstoppable. Their D is above average but their O is average at best. Never going ti win a shootout.

Can Michigan

Dec 5, 2021, 2:03 PM

Run a similar game plan as Bama? I’d love to see UGA go down again in flames

If Kirby doesn’t figure out something at qb, they

will lose to Michigan imho. Stetson is who he is. Ok game manager and that’s it.

That "didn't score an offensive TD" against Clemson is a tired line. Kirby ran out the clock to end the game. Everyone reading this knows he could have punched it in the end zone at the end had he wanted to. Clemson's defense was done and could not stop UGA during the final minutes. You should be thanking Kirby.

You had 4 quarters to put it in the end zone dummy!

And we didn't because Clemson's defense prevented it. Doesn't change the fact that we could have at the end and because of the mercy shown by Kirby Smart, you now get to brag that UGA "didn't score an offensive touchdown." Again, you should thank him.

We all understand you are a little butt hurt after that whooping by big daddy Saban last night. Hence why you are on the clemson message boards today trying to make yourself feel better

And there is no guarantee, we would still be your best win and we’re ranked 19th. The SEC East is garbage.

Their defense is legit. Their offense struggles a lot and their QB is highly overrated playing unranked competition. He was the #2 rated passer this year and last night threw what 4 interceptions?

Think Kirby knew from the start that his weakness was the secondary. But his great dline he could usually rush 3, maybe 4 and never gave the opponents opportunity for plays to develop.

I'm sorry but you can't be in the ACC bashing the SEC east. It might of been down but so is the ACC. GA is a good team who got beat by the greatest coach of all time. The only coach that can beat him is Dabo

I’ve said this all season. Georgia is good like they always are. I haven’t seen anything that makes me believe they are any better than they have been recently. Fortunately for Georgia; Clemson, Alabama and OSU are all weaker than they have been in recent years. As such they have a chance to win it all if they can figure out Bama. In other words good enough to win it all this year. Not good enough to win it over past years champions… they may just benefit from the fact that there arent any elite teams this year
