A Heisman winner? 3rd year with same OC. He has a strong OL, maybe the best WR corp in the country. Back when we had Lawrence, we were so good, he was usually done by halftime or 3rd in most games. Didn't really get to pad his numbers like Burrow did. I don't see this team blowing everyone out this year, which means Cade could possibly stack his stats?

Exactly right! The player has to be the “media” darling. After watching CJ, Deshaun, and Trevor miss out on the award I don’t have much respect for it anymore…..

Agree along with the fact that if we have a team (which usually is goes to a player on a top 5 or so team).that is top 5 or so we probably will be blowing other teams out and dabo pulls starters so they can't pad stats like others.really need acc to get alot more competitive to have a shot

Read something the other day where every other QB that has ever had a season, statistically speaking, like Cade had last season was at a minimum a Heisman finalist and Cade didn't even sniff the top 10. That should tell you all you need to know about our chances to win one.

If Cade outplays Nussmeier and LSU head to head and has gaudy stats in the process , Cade will emerge the frontrunner.
But Clemson must win that game for CK2 to be in the conversation.
Something like 250-300 yards passing
67+% passing percentage 4TD 0 int.

Who really cares about the Heisman Trophy. The player usually gets cut by the team that drafts him after his rookie contract is complete.
It no longer has the prestige that it once carried. You must play QB or WR to win it. It is never the best player in college football.
