Miami and VT finish 11-1 (7-1) Clemson and NC State finish 10-2 (7-1) FSU finishes 10-2 (6-2)
Where will these teams be ranked? Who will play in ACC championship game? Who will wi it? Who makes 12 team playoffs?
Does ACC having best year in a long time (CU, FSU, Miami, and VT all double digit wins) give espn reason to renegotiate ACC media deal to save ACC?

No. If FSU is 13-0 and Clemson is 12-1, both make CFP. FSU gets bye. That's the 9nly way the ### conference gets 2 in CFP.
AND ESPN is not going to renogiate the contract. Why should they pay more when they don't have too. They are a business and their goal is to make as much profit as possible. They are not a gubmint welfare program.

At 12-1 ... Clemson would probably get to play 8-4 Ole Miss in Oxford.

Heck no. ESPN is gonna milk the ACC til it runs dry.

As unrealistic as most of those records are, absolutely no way in h*ll it would give us any leeway to renegotiate the contract. We could have multiple 1 loss teams and they’d just tell us to pound sand.
That’s like your bank coming to you now and seeing if you’d be willing to negotiate your sub 3% interest rate, you’d tell them to p*ss off.
ESPN has the ACC locked up with comparative breadcrumbs until 2036. If our moronic conference “leadership” had of signed a 10 year deal instead of a 20 year one then maybe we’d have some leverage on an extension at a higher rate, but right now we have nothing to win by staying in this sh*thole conference

neck. Renegotiating a tv deal to give the ACC MORE money would be the absolute farthest thing from their mind.
All you need to do is look at how ESPN approached creation and backing of the SEC Network vs the ACC Network. The two could not be more different. SEC Network gets top shelf treatment all the way. The ACC Network's flagship show originated from two old guys basement, with dogs wandering around the set, for cripes sake. Not to mention that even the launch of the ACC Network dragged on for over a year beyond what was expected, and this was AFTER it had been delayed several times, due to ESPN already realizing they were bleeding money.

ESPN will hold the line until the courts make a decision. If Clemson/fsu leave they'll turn their attention to wherever they end up. If they stay, they'll have to operated under the current contract. The outlier and I don't know if it's legal....If the courts rule Clemson/fsu can leave it means anyone can leave. Could the all ACC teams leave and start a new conference that would have to renegotiate with ESPN? Would ESPN take the bait? It would set a precedence where conferences would just reorganize in an attempt to squeeze ESPN. This could lead to individual team contracts with ESPN ala ND and NBC. All hypothetical.

Could Clemson and FSU be dragging their feet in court until 2025? ESPN has no guarantee of who will play ACC games and does not renew their contract with the ACC. This would cause a collapse of the ACC and everyone is free of the GOR.
