We won and they lost but it feels the complete opposite. We had to dig deep to beat Cuse at home on homecoming and they lost to a potential playoff team on the road by 7. I don't see us beating them with Cole at the QB... sorry to all you Cole defenders. He's a great guy, putting it on the line for us with an injury but he's not a good QB in this system. He can't escape pressure to save his life and he doesn't make good decisions period. Two interceptions and another two that should have been intercepted (the one the DB just plain out dropped and the one Artavis had to fight to break it up, which actually looked like he committed the pass interference).
The great thing about our OL being abysmal is that the coots DL (Beasley has more sacks than them this year) play just as abysmal. I like our chances with our run D against their run D (I honestly think we can contain Davis and Wilds). Pass D is a question, Cooper is playing at an All-SEC level. Thompson threw the ball 50 times against AU... so be prepared. Our offense with Cole doesn't stand a chance but with DW we have a chance to put up points. But with a lot of ball left to be played, let's pray Watson comes back to the same level he left in.
Chad, the middle of the field was open THE ENTIRE GAME.
