the media heads have become obnoxious about their opinions with who is ranked where, even in the first pole of the season.
I get they need to stuff to talk about, but so much of it comes from a place of personal bias, starting with the rooted ideology that SEC and B10 are the best two conferences.

I mean, even the MBB tournament has a lot of drama. There will be arguments (manufactured, or not), regardless, lol.

ESPN does not hire people to sing and dance. ESPN hires people to talk and support their opinions and the beauty of it is life will go on for all 130+ football teams and their supporters whether they agree or not.

I’m really hoping they have a cap on how many teams each conference gets in. Lord knows they’d try to put 6 sec teams in there if they could.

The teams that never make the playoffs or are new to being talked about, love being mentioned with the big boys, it’s good for their fan bases to have a little taste. Two weeks ago Oklahoma state, TCU, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Ole miss & etc were in on the playoff conversation for the first time.
We need to give those teams hope because they feel better about the same 4 -5 teams being there every year.
We all know it’s going to come down to the best coached teams Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Georgia & Oklahoma in the end most years.
