I'm heading out for a couple of weeks.

Vacation in South Dakota.
I may post a little but probably not much. Don't want y'all to think I've forgotten about you.
My prediction: Tigers 38, Pack 10. (Unfortunately, defense will finally give up a TD.)
Meanwhile, my Noles will continue to struggle. I'm holding out hope that Norvell and staff can finally get things moving in the right direction. But, that hope is getting real slim. (The coaches are saying the right things: "We have to do a better job putting our players in the best position to succeed. We have to analyze what our players can do best and what they are weakest at. We have to do a better job calling the right plays for the situation. Etc....."
If we lose to Louisville (which is quite probable) you will be hearing the uproar all the way to Clemson, SC.
Flying out tomorrow morning. Returning first week in October.

That's where we're heading.
Devil's Tower, then 5 days in Custer (lots to see and do in that area - Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park, Deadwood, etc.), then 4 days in Badlands National Park. We had it planned for May of 2020, but COVID had other ideas.

Rumors of Deion coming are growing stronger and will become a volcano if we lose to Louisville. I can't think of a worse mistake to make.
Deion was a great player. Mickey Andrews said, "Not only was he the best defensive back I've ever ocahed, not only was he the best athlete I've ever coaches, but he was also the hardest working player I have ever coached."
But, that is no guarantee that he is cut out to be a great coach.

My thoughts are that we have no choice to be patient. If we fire Norvell now, who the heck are we gonna hire? We would go out and hire someone with a far thinner resume than Norvell had, becasue no one with a decent resume would take the job.
We are at the point where we have to hope Norvell can turn it around. We've hitched our wagon to him. We have to give him at least 4 years now.
