Priority Points

Does anyone know when the priority points system was started and did they give retroactive points? The reason I ask is because I am only showing donations since 2008 but I've been donating since I was 12 years old as a full member (I'm 28 now). I never paid attention until I started messing around the website and saw my donation history. Thank!

I suspect they only give you 10 years of history on the website (that's all mine shows), but their records will confirm how long you've been giving.

Just checked. That did it. I'm showing 29 donor points and I should have 58. 16 years of donations. 11 at the purple and 5 at orange. Something isn't right! Thanks for the info!

29 sounds close to right. The customer priority points are what tickets are assigned based on for this football season. They are based on your donations through 6/30/17. The donor points will be updated for your 2018 donations and will be used for next year's football season. The customer points would be calculated as follows:
- 16 points (1 for each year of giving)
- 15 points for cumulative giving calculated below:
($160 x 11 years at purple level = $1,760) + ($400 x 5 years at orange level = $2,000)
$1,760 + $2,000 = $3,760
$3,760/250 = 15 points
- 5 points for current year donor level (assuming you were an orange level donor for the year ending 6/30/17)
16 + 15 + 5 = 36 priority points
This is assuming your donations over the 16 uears were based on the current purple and orange levels. However, i believe they have gone up in the past few years, so the cumulative giving portion of your points may be slightly less than 15.

Ahh I must have miscalculated. Most likely I did. I don't get all this. Started when I was 12 so I really didn't look into it. And now I just thought about it. Thanks for the help!

You may need to call IPTAY. I had stopped paying IPTAY for reasons all my own, but had paid 15-20 years before I stopped. I checked my points and they didn’t add up so I called and they added my previous points
