had that FSU game gone the other way, I think we play with confidence and don't lose vs. Miami or Nancy.

We have better athletes than Duke but we were thoroughly beaten on Labor Day. It should have woken us up and made us hungry but we floundered for six weeks still.

Being 8-1 was within our grasp. Admittedly, this year's team is nowhere near ready for the CFP and I think we would be embarrassed by UGA. Even in our incomplete state, we have some studs. When we put it all together with next year's incoming class...a freshman and sophomore led team with a few exceptional upperclassmen...it's going to be on like Donkey Kong.

This is true. Looked at individually each game was within reach aside from self inflicted in game errors.
