That’s hilarious. That’s their online price to get people in the door.
What that online price is showing how many POTENTIAL savings in rebates you can get off that truck. I’m looking at the GM system right now, we have the same amount of potential rebates. However, in reality there is zero percent chance of someone getting all 12k in rebates. There is like a 1 percent chance of someone being eligible for all those rebates.
For example we have 1,000 rebates if you are a veteran, teacher, current college student, etc.
Nobody is ever all those things in one.

I got my degree in English, but completed my pre law stuff as my minor was philosophy of law. Taking a year to save some money to hopefully go to wake forest for law. Duke is on the table as well.

2 or 3 years ago when I was looking for a vehicle and went to a dealership in Charlotte, I talked to a kid that had graduated from Clemson and knew Joonyer from school, so I'm inclined to believe our car salesman major is placing kids at a very high rate.

Usually by the time I get around to buying a car, it's proven its mettle as an older, higher mileage, more reliable vehicle that I paid cash for. I haven't made payments on a car since the late 80s.
That said, I'm probably making one more move on a vehicle in the near future, and I may go ahead and buy something newer-ish and make a payment or two, in spite of the fact that it pains me NOT to be debt free.
I've enjoyed the Mazda CX-5, but I'd like to have something a little roomier, an automatic transmission for longer road trips, and the capability to pull a small teardrop camper with relative ease.
Would you say that this truck meets my needs?

You know it’s funny, I actually drive a 2016 Mazda CX-5. It was a graduation gift and I really enjoy it. I also now have a Chevy Colorado truck that I love too.
As far as your needs, it could fit your needs. As it is roomy, can pull that easily. Just are you looking for a truck?

Is it trying to be a compact truck or full size truck? because its neither. What is the market for it? May as well get a 1/2 ton pickup or an SUV. Really if someone is looking for a truck that size the Tacoma is the only good option. Chevy should dump the colorado and make the S10 again

The Tacoma I also don't get. Seems like its made for 2nd year Air Force guys to get because they are scared to get a full size truck, but pay the same price as a full size truck, and get worse gas mileage.

Have you not heard my "I bought a Colorado new in 2005, put 270,000 miles on it over 10 years, and only had $400 in repair costs, then put $400 more into it for selling purposes".
The point of the Colorado is the optimal combination of towing and fuel efficiency. Yes, it is like a cheaper Tacoma and believe it or not has the potential to be more reliable.
The older ones had a 5-cylinder, perfect for a guy like me that drove a lot, but needed to pull a boat on the weekends.

and I got 24 mpgs regularly because I drove a lot of highway. For a short time I averaged 25 when I was driving hometown to Greenville.
My Acadia was at 24.8 last week....The odometer read 26.4 but actuality was 24.8.

They wouldn't be able to get them off the truck fast enough. People would be beating each other up for a chance to buy them. If you paint some White Tiger Paws pointed to 1 O'clock on the doors you'd really have some trouble in your parking lot. Also, I recommend putting some paws on the leather seats, and also some Mud Tires for them. Unfortunately for you, I'm a FORD TOUGH guy and I like my F-Series trucks. However, there are no shortage of Chevy men. I'd try looking up Burns Chevorlet in Gaffney, SC. They're huge Clemson Fans and would probably take them off of your hands.

1) Stop saying they only made three. It makes you look shady. On page one of google alone when searching for "Tangier Orange Silverado" there are 6 for sale. It's a special order color that any fleet manager can order, and it's usually for construction/road crew vehicles. The only accident was your inventory manager ordering one for dealer stock.
2) Just because we're Clemson fans doesn't mean we want to drive around in bright orange vehicles. Look around the parking lots on game day. Other than novelty stuff like the Paw-bearer hearse, I bet you can use two hands to count the number of orange cars, and have fingers left over.
3) If you're really convinced there's a Clemson fan just waiting to buy this, get your sales manager to let you drive it to the next Charlotte Clemson young alumni meeting...it's a big group.
4) If you want to make money in the car biz, get off the Internet trying to find a needle in a haystack and go take some ups on the lot. The only reason I can imagine you being so invested in selling this is because the truck is basically sale-proof and your GM has put a hefty spiff to the first salesperson to move it.
