Letting people from Mexico cross back and forth with minimal interference to fill needed jobs is a good thing.
Having an open invitation that encourages massive hordes of God-knows-who from all corners of the earth flood into our country basically unhindered and uncontrolled, which not only allows hard working people looking for a better life into our country, but also lets in tons of undesirables and enemies, is not at all what Reagan had in mind.

1. How many hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have died.- You saying half a million Russians have died is laughable. Russias population is 144.2 million. So, 0.342 percent of the Russian population died because of the war.
Ukraine has a population of 38 million. How many soldier and civilians has Ukraine lost? I’ve seen different estimates. Ranging from 250k to 500k plus. Higher than the Russian army.
2. How many Russian or Ukrainian civilians died under Trump? Go ahead answer you #####.
3.which administration was in charge when Putin launched a full scale invasion on another country?

for that matter, is very different now than 35-45 years ago. I don't think we needed a wall in the 1980s.
My best guess is that Reagan would have signed off on that border bill, but nobody is comparing Reagan to Trump, so I don't know what your point is.
Why didn't he build a wall? Again, it was a very different time and situation. It doesn't mean he wouldn't in 2024, or that he wouldn't favor a strict clamp down of some kind.
Again, Trump is not Reagan. And Putin sure as hayull ain't Gorbachev. And 2024 ain't 1988.

What's different about immigration in 2024 compared to 1980?
In 1980s, allowing Mexicans to cross was not such a big deal because they were needed to fill jobs, and that was basically what was happening. Today it's not Mexicans satisfying a need, it is our enemies having an open invitation and crossing illegally, as well as people from all over the world in much higher numbers.
To be clear, I don't support allowing illegal entry no matter who approves.

My point is that in 1980 I was 2 years old. I can tell you for a fact that plenty has changed.
I was just returning the question to you and asking what is Kamala planning on doing with the border and Ukraine (and I’ll throw in the Middle East as well) that she and Biden have not done so far, and if she has such great ideas why hasn’t she enacted them?
The fact that you mention the border and Ukraine/Russia being problems means that this administration has failed at dealing with these problems.
Why should I trust her with solving these issues?
