I felt that tonight would tell us a lot about this team after the Va game. And sadly I think it did

So far, it has never made a difference who the Clemson coach is. Same stuff with all of them. I think the only coach who might have made a significant difference for Tiger Bball was Rick Barnes. Unfortunately, Texas was way too good to pass up.

My thoughts exactly. The Rick Barnes era was the best that I can ever remember. I’m a die hard Clemson guy but the love of Clemson basketball has left me unfortunately. Too predictable. Start out good against poor competition and then just try to survive the conference. Watching is bad for my blood pressure.

Another Buzz Saw

Impressive shooting display is an understatement!! 16-26 (61%) from the arc was another buzz saw! That’s 31 threes made against us in two games.
We gotta do a better job of guarding the arc!

I Missed the game but I am starting to get that same old, same old ,Deja Vu feeling. With the start we got off to, and with the talent and the depth we have, anything short of the NCAA Tournament it might be time to cut the string.

From 12 to not ranked in two games.

Lost by total of 55 points.
Not sure where we go from here.
Last two games sure were a buzz kill on the season.
Back to drawing board. Maybe it will turn around.

It was fun being ranked while it lasted but wow, that was a rank effort tonight and the prize is having to play maybe the best team in the ACC Saturday. The confidence has got to come back because this does not even look like the same team we had before the COVID cases.

Brownell has got to go! OP had more success in a shorter window. I do not get why he continually holds this job. My Dad got all excited that the Tigers were ranked #12. I told him to wait a minute. Brownell has one tourney run on his recruits. His first was OP’s recruits and I don’t know what he has to do to be fired. I long for the day that all Clemson sports are the standard of excellence. SMH. I refused to be fooled by Brownell again. Fool me one...you know the saying. No more shame on me because I have zero expectations. Ugh. Come back football! Hahahahaha

Unfortunately, the only reason BB still has a job is because of Dabo. BB and Dabo are good friends and Dabo has supported BB very strongly at Clemson. It sucks but BB isnt going anywhere anytime soon.

Dabo fired his best friend, and the husband of his wife's best friend. I doubt Dabo is the reason Brownell still is around, but who really knows for certain? If he is the reason for Brownell not being fired, he needs to rethink his position, IMO. I don't see Brad Brownell taking our program to "The Promised Land" of elite programs, or even in that conversation.

BB at his finiest, start off hot and finish cold down the stretch. Clemson will finish something like 15-12 and make the NIT. Just last week they were picked as a 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament, now they will be lucky to finish over .500...I see two more loses this week with FSU and BC...
