He’s going to be the best receiver in the 23 class, he has every tool to be one of the best receivers to ever come through Clemson. He’s been tearing it up on the 7v7 circuit without breaking a sweat. Imagine our receiving corp with Beaux, Williams, Randall, and Joseph with Cade slinging it. Going to be one of the best offenses we’ve ever had.

“Clemson’s 2023 commit”
When was the last time Clemson only had ONE commit in the middle of February?

And a receiver 5'8" tall, at that? He may be great, but there are plenty of receivers who are 6'3" who are very, very good, also. Hope he shows everybody that measurables don't mean everything, but time will tell. All things equal, little rarely beats big. It sounds so good, but it rarely rings true, but it can happen, and I wish him well.

There's more than one variable in the "good x" always beats "not as good x."
Sure, if everything else is equal, then "big x" always beats "small x."
Here's an important variable: If everything else is equal, then "fast x" always beats "slow x."
Another one (that is critical for WRs): "Good hands x" always beats "bad hands x."
Ditto with work ethic.
Ditto with football smarts.
Etc. etc. etc.

He seems to be flirting pretty hard with Miami.

Everyone has him committed and hard on signing with us plus has been representing clemson with his gloves at events. When we wax Miami in the valley this year it will solidify his decision

I think these young men wear the gear that fits the situation, and that's understandable, since they are with a host who's doing the funding. That said, I hope we really are the factor with the guys who fit our culture and who possess the skills that will make a difference for us. Dabo doesn't make too many bad reads. We lose some guys, but usually, it's because they are not "the guy" they thought they would be, or that Clemson thought they would be. Clemson plays the " best of the best", and like it or not, some wind up to not be that guy. I like that.
