Shilling for 9-3 SEC teams to CFP over an 11-1 B1G team. For a sellout paycheck. Shown today to be complete BS as Bama and the stupid coots both lose to B1G. I didn’t think Indiana was gonna be competitive necessarily, but if an 11-1 record in one of the best P4 conferences gets bypassed to give a 9-3 SEC “just one more chance” to prove it, then we may never actually get to see what conference actually IS best in a given year.

Herbie's best future bet is doing the Thursday-Night NFL gig.
Most of the so called ESPN college gurus are so long in the tooth
they have become stale and irrelevant. I support fresh new voices regardless
of age ( the ole ball coach for example ) to have the opportunity
to express their two cents worth. They are out there ESPN seize
the moment and go hire them.

to "enlighten" us with their opinions about the game.
That's because they thought, think they are in a position to drive their own agenda to support a product...in this case, the SEC. Herbie should have been more circumspect, for who in the helll was he to denigrate any team selected for the CFP. I don't give a dammmm whether or not any particular team deserved an invite; Indiana was selected, and Herbie's take was a downright gross insult to that school and its entire family. AND my friends, if there is one thing I despise, it's that kind of bullying...yes, bullying by someone in Herbie's position. Therefore, I not only hold him responsible, but that organization for which he works for using their platform to interject themselves more deeply into our sport.
Karma? You bet your assss, when both Bama and the Chickens lost their games, because that ought to be a clarion call to Herbie and his ilk: shut the hellll up with your condescending opinions. You owe the good people at Indiana a belly-crawling, groveling apology!
