Yeah when I read the story about his family and the tragedy they have been through and of course understanding what a total dumpster fire Columbia is and how pathetic that football program is I just shook my head in disbelief and said this is not going to end well and this kid and his family are going to regret the day they ever step foot on that campus! I really do feel sorry for this kid and his family. That’ entire school, their football program, and their fan base are all vile and disgusting!

Gotta say that I agree with this. It sounds bad to say, but it made me feel bad for Hilinski after awhile because I imagine it has to be frustrating to have that brought up all the time. I lost my father earlier this year and after awhile I just wanted people to stop bringing it up to me even though they meant well.

sense. You would normally only have this grad transfer QB for one year. Butt, since this year doesn't count against eligibility, he could theoretically play two years in Cooterville. So, throw him out there early, see what he's got. If he shows even a spark of talent, he is your starter going forward. If not, back to Helsinki.

Changer, big time, all the west coast schools wanted him, great story/family moved to Lake Murray. Happy days are back, quarterback to build around.... I feel real bad for the kid. He played his heart out last year and took the lumps. They may not win a game, even Vandy!
