Spurrier - who has the edge?
It seems the betting public believes Spurrier can hold onto the football and keep Pruitt on his heels. I can't imagine they think the SC defense can stop the Georgia O.
It will be interesting to see if Pruitt can do it. I think he can.

downfield and test the UGa secondary but ultimately, $CU dsoesn't have the defense to beat UGa IMO. This one won't be close for too long unless UGa turns the ball over a bunch.

They weren't that great last against the run last year, they're even worse now. Secondary sucks, too.

it will be another long afternoon/evening for $CU fans and effectively dash any hope for an $EC Least Championship.

I don't.
Pruitt has a weak secondary. Abysmal, actually. That we couldn't get to it better than we did in the second half is the worst coaching job Chad Morris has ever - ever - done at Clemson, and while he's for the most part done a fine job he's had some clunkers mixed in there as well.
South Carolina has some decent receivers, a monster O-line, and more importantly, a coach who is, sorry, a significant upgrade on Chad Morris as a playcaller. You can argue Spurrier's developmental coaching and short-hours preparation all you want - and many have - but Spurrier is the best playcaller in college football.
South Carolina will get to that secondary.
It remains to be seen if they can stop Gurley any better than we could, but South Carolina will likely score a lot more than 21 points on UGA...and I can promise you they'll generate more than 15 yards of offense in the second half.

$CU scored 28 on A&M and 33 on ECU

thanks in large part to some pi$$-poor officiating and two really bad decisions by the ECU QB. I think it is fair to say the UGa defense is better than both A&M and ECU.
Not only is Slurrier NOT the best playcaller in college football, he's not even the best play caller in the $EC.

Unless Spurrier is working a miracle (perhaps sacrificing a virgin to the SEC gods), Georgia's defense will only have to stop them once to outscore them.

USuC is a virgin in SEC Championships. Never had one and never will. Go Tigers.

UGa by 21 . They would win without ever throwing the football , if they know whats good for them. I would toss it about 9 times over the first 3 quarters , then empty the running back tank on that soft Coot defense. UGA 40-19

Hopefully Richt does us a solid and only runs Gurley four times in the first half.
Unfortunately I have a feeling he will get many more touches and we won't be able to do anything about it.

Bobo has spent a lot of time on the passing game preparing for USce. Look for McKenzie to have an increased role at WR.
