Actually called that he sits dead read fastballs when he gets one it really goes potential is through the roof we just need him to have better approaches instead of trying to do that all the time love the guy but did say that he isn’t giving us what we need overall out of a 3 hole dh but maybe that will get him going!

His biggest problem is that he takes too many pitches. I like him aggressive.

He’s far from perfect, but leading the team in RBIs and being the 3rd most effective hitter (tied with Jarrell and behind Cam and Listi) shows the potential he has for next year. Definitely needs to improve pitch selection and off-speed contact, but his profile is rare for a power hitter. He walks almost as much as he strikes out, but also can crush the ball when he makes contact. The only thing is he just needs to make more contact. I’d trade off some walks and strikeouts for more power if he can start hit offspeed pitches better.
