Gotta get some dudes. Gotta pay to play. Bottom line. Yes what if we didn’t have the injury bug early. What if that and this. It’s baseball and sports. The staff is fine. Sometimes guys just don’t phase out and that’s life and sports. The staff many if let go would get swallowed up fast. Many are highly regarded coaches on the staff. Heck corb and sully got thrashed. Does it suck yes but look at what Eb did with a roster depleted. They did the best they could. Ball falls this way or that then coulda woulda be different…we will never know. Do things need to change yes. Coaches know this and players.

I am disappointed in fans. I wasn’t able to attend Sunday bc I had to get my own summer team roster set. Finally the hs season ended and got them back and we start fast. But the fans my wife and others we sit with our season tickets didn’t show. It wasn’t Sunday but Friday was mid. Saturday was strong crowd but Sunday was pitiful. We see it all year long. I know the 4pm games are tough to start the year and weather has factors but most fans only show for the big marquee games. You can see it on average of how many empty seats. We have good crowds but not great. Great only happens when we play uga, the rival and postseason. How do we fix that? We are winning but maybe if some more consistency on the fan base and getting loud then things different.

Eb is gonna do well. Many hates Bowden but Bowden brought us many bowl wins and little brother uofsc wins. He just couldn’t get over the hump. Dabo has made some changes. Eb will and needs to as well. If you don’t it’s gonna be the same outcomes

I agree 100%, Bakich is probably the reason they got dragged to 45 wins this season. He made some mistakes in the regional, but it wasn't like they were completely boneheaded. Mahlstedt was reliable until May 1st, and it didn't pan out bringing him in both days. Bakich will be fine and do fine, just gotta recruit some dudes this offseason. I think as the seasons go on, Bakich will bring his preferred guys in, and we'll start to see some improvements.

I feel like we're in the Tahj Boyd era towards the start of Swinney's tenure, on the cusp but loses the big games, with a bright future ahead. We'll be fine, the team will be fine, and Bakich will be fine; he didn't take Michigan to a CWS final without having enough coaching ability to take them there.
