Exactly … who in their right mind calls a qb roll out pass against his body on their 5 yard line … that’s the dumbest play call I’ve ever seen … way to put em in good position street , set cade up for failure from the snap on that one

He's not the answer, but I believe we have seen DJs upside/potential. He has no feel for the game, no football savvy, great arm but no feel for the ebb and flow of the game. He will not get better, so the question is: Do we give Cade reps at the risk of killing his confidence or allow him experience with trial by fire. We can play DJ every snap and we know what he will do - average at the very best.

in all fairness , Trevor Lawrence had a better Freshmen year than Sophmore.
IN FACT, Trevors sophmore year looked more like it would of been his Freshmen year. Qb's have their moments but the writing is on the wall...

DJ just isn't good enough to be a starting QB for a national championship contender. He's trying hard but his tunnel vision, slowness in the pocket, bad decisions, etc limit him.
Cade needs this year to mature. He isn't ready to be a starter for anyone.
Going forward, Cade should get at least 2-3 series every game.

Until he hurt his shoulder I thought Parker was much better. I cannot understand people defending DJ. He has a strong arm. What else is good?
Decision making?

Klubnick has clearly not been developed at all since start of season. If he gets the start next year he will be like a freshman just arriving on campus.
