This is the first game of consequence this season that I will not have any pre-game nerves. What has anyone seen this year ( common opponents, etc) that would insight any doubt about the results of the up coming beat down.

I can't figure that one out either. I think it's simply a matter of - if you hate Clemson / Dabo from the start then anything everything will "confirm" your hate.

Dan Devine,their coach, vowed NEVER to play there again after the heavily favored Irish squeaked by the Tigers in 1977--he even flipped the crowd off as he exited the field. Eventually, Notre Dame returned to DV amidst a weather phenomenon rarely seen before---torrential downpours on one side of the field only. The damp Irish lost.
