we have a good bit returning along with a new dc. but i do remember us struggling against louisville and what not last year as well. so until they play lights out against good teams ina big game im not buying it.. week one against lsu really doesnt matter seeeings conference champ gets an auto bid..but it will tell a good bit about where this team is headed this year.

There is no doubt that we are returning a lot of talent for 2025 season, but we have to have a RB that can toute the rock consistently or our opponents will be dropping many in coverage to try and slow our passing game down if that can be done with all the talent that we'll have coming out of our receiver's room!!!
With a consistent RB, I'm looking for 2025 to be a Natty year for our Tigers...

the key word being consistent. Until the Offense and the Defense can show consistency then everything is just talk. It's all about team, teamwork, teammates with everyone being consistent.

Unproven RBs, 1st year DC, & a head coach who refuses to stop killing critical drives with bone headed trick plays...not seeing any reason to buy the "top 3" or "natty" hype. Hope they prove me wrong but I just don't see it.

The lofty expectations as per this article and others will continue to rain down as I previously mentioned.
It's why the thought of somehow limiting our teams ability to continue to consume the hype should be suppressed.
I think we are ready and can handle it as I'm sure behind the scenes Dabo has already addressed the matter.
It could present a problem for a lesser team that lacks maturity and leadership
But as the season draws near the articles will ramp up in their frequency.
We will be ready. I'm also confident we will have a stout running game.
In fact , I think we will fare better there than we did last year and certainly a potent enough group of championship caliber.

Really? You think so?
Do you mean the Dabo that put the team 'on the clock' a few years ago to win a Natty?
Or the Dabo that made the stupid hires that set the program back years and $$MMs of dollars?
Or the Dabo that knew trick plays would win in Death Valley against his but Crying Shane?
No need to run the ball when you can throw it and then there's no need to ask the lame DC why we're letting that QB run all over the field?
Or the Dabo that knew better than any of us that we did NOT need a DE upgrade from the portal last year?
Or the Dabo that knows we're fine at Punter? Of course, we're fine. Special Teams is like Special Ed. You just don't pay enough attention to them.
You got a lot of faith in one of those Dabos.
