We were honoring Flowe's offer and probably told him something like we'd only take one more at LB. When the staff couldn't get any guarantees from him, we pulled the trigger on Simpson.

Clemson doesn't OVERSIGN then Cut players to make room.
I'm still holding out hope against hope that with Burch and Flowe not being on board,that there's somehow room found for Daniyel Ngata. First world problems.

he was committed to Auburn until October. From Oct to now, the coaches may not have had much time to pursue him with the season. They probably contacted him and expressed interest and asked for an official. Hey came, they offered, he's a Clemson Tiger!

else. The time expired/situation changed on the other, which instantly triggered the next target.
Lots of greedy peeps on here trying to hold out hope that we get everyone in the world this year. I'm blown away at what we have.

Still a chance we could get him though but I'm with you, if we didn't get another recruit in this class, it'd still be top 3 classes in Clemson history, maybe even #1.

We're still recruiting him but it's either we took a guy to guarantee us a 3rd LB in this class or that Flowe is now in Simpson's spot waiting for a spot to open up. It's really up to him how bad he wants to be a Tiger. I think he just learned a hard life lesson though, better take the opportunities when they present themselves because there are always other people willing to take your spot.

Our current class is ridiculously good. Additional commits would just be extra gravy spilling over the side of our plate. If a young man is not All In, I wish him well elsewhere.

Misspelled his offer letter . It kept coming back return to sender .
Apparently there's a guy in Moyock named Senton Trimpson and so we can all admit to making this mistake a time or two .
Our staff isn't perfect .

would second-guess Dabo & Co. when it comes to recruiting.
Here is what we know about Dabo's philosophy:
1. Kids get told the truth. There are no lies or tricks. Dabo tells them where they stand. Period.
2. Sometimes that leads to a kid being asked to be patient. An offer may come. Here is what has to happen, but if it does, your offer will be there.
3. Kids have to recruit Clemson just as hard as Clemson recruits the kid. There is nothing to talk about until a kid comes to campus. Then the conversation continues only as long as expectations are met.
Everybody take a deep breath. If there is anything we know about Dabo's recruiting it's that he's got this. We don't need to worry about it.

We were hot and heavy 3 seasons ago for the #1 running back in the nation out of NC - Zamir White.
He committed to UGA instead (probably regretting the hell out of that now), tore his ACL and has done squat since.
Regardless - in the last minute we went after a little known player by the name of Travis Etienne.
Today, that kid has broken #### near every record on our team and in the ACC.
Star power is made in HS. Talent is developed in college and NO ONE does it better than Swinney and Co.
