247 has a lower rating for almost all of our recruits than all the other sites. The reason being is the Clemson247 site has zero subscribers. After the top echelon of prospects these sites fudge rankings to satisfy subscribers. These fan sites know subscribers aren't going to pay $10 a month to be told they're going to suck for the next few years.

I actually did an analysis of sorts where I took three schools who had their primary message boards on the Rivals site, three schools who used Scout as their primary message board and three schools who had an independent message board like Clemson does with Tigernet.

It proved your theory exactly correct. The three who used Rivals had their recruits skewed on Rivals in both ranking score and the median and mode for the recuit rank verse the Scout Ranking for all three schools.
Conversely the Scout dominant sites had the exact same skew verse the Rivals ranking.

The three independent associated schools all had their average lower than site associated schools but none as skewed as the Rivals vs Scout sites.

ESPN who is out to get us is probably behind it somehow. They probably bribed 247 to hurt us.

On3 is the new standard. All these websites were started by the same guy. He started with Rivals.com, then sold it. Then he started 247, and sold that. Now he has started On3. Every time he sells and starts over, his newer site is better than the one he just sold off.
