Per Fox: "BYU completes investigation into Duke player's racial slur allegations, finds no evidence to corroborate claim
BYU also lifted the ban on a fan who had been accused of shouting racial slurs
Brigham Young University announced Friday morning that, following an "extensive" investigation, there has been no evidence to corroborate an allegation made by a Duke women’s volleyball player that she was subjected to racial slurs during a game at BYU last month.
The Cougars athletics department released a lengthy statement summarizing its investigation into an Aug. 26 incident where Duke player Rachel Richardson claimed she was "targeted and racially heckled throughout the entirety of the match," which then evolved into "threats."

So I waded into enemy territory last night to see what the dirt peck-ers were saying about this whole "crap show" on their forums. The admins over there are locking down every thread and removing all comments that mention the topic over there. Seems like an open-minded way to handle it. Especially now the evidence is coming to light that is was all imagined. LOL.

There are racist in every college fanbase. If you are going to not play where a racist fan might be then i guess maybe an inter squad round robin but probably several racist on every team as well. Unless you believe only a certain amount of melanin produces racist then they will always exist. Nothing you or I can do about it. I would be more shocked that slurs/threats did NOT occur. I mean a volleyball game without an actual ball would be more inline with reality.
Shoot, even recreational youth spectators are unhinged. Things are that vile.
That being said, in what world are folks "shocked" at the claimed slurs at the college level. If that behavior is an issue to one's volleyball game, well that just makes me respect the Harvey Gantts all that much more. T

She is an idiot. Do we honestly believe that these type things never happen? Both ways I’m sure. But to cancel a basketball game off a complaint from 1 person that had nothing to do with you. This was BYU vs Duke in volleyball and this particular coach takes it upon herself without any facts to cancel the game. Wonder if she even consulted her players?
I say cancel the game and SC can mark it down as a loss.
This right here is another problem this society has going for it. Things don’t go your way then you boycott or try to have it shut down.
I have a lot more I could say about her but what’s the use it’s not going to change anything.

Duke officials support and believe the player and so do I. Remember the investigation was conducted by people at BYU. How reliable is that? There is no reason at all for the young lady to fabricate the story. This has nothing to do with Smollett.

Let’s look at her track record…
Early in her usc tenure refused to recruit white girls
The Missouri incident when players were spat on and other controversial language by usc fans, Dawn sided with those fans
Now she cancels a series based on an unfounded claim and turns out she was wrong and the player’s family has a history of making inflammatory racial remarks
Something people haven’t thought about though. Looking at the schedule scar girls have a home and home with Memphis. Yes that Memphis where people are doing live recordings of mass shootings/murders…look it up.
So if her stance in playing byu is unsafe based on unfounded claims of bad words, how safe is it to play Memphis where godless souls are taking lives for sport?
Yet she stands by her foolish decision without apology.

I hope that BYU and anybody else accused can and will file a lawsuit against Dawn, the coot university and the Duke fan who started this crap. I hope they are forced to pay some amount of compensation to BYU. Just because she has won a few women’s basketball championship’s does make her the Judge and the Jury. To many times the race card is the first card played. We live be a new rule of law these days. You are Guilty until proven Innocent. But how much money does it cost you to prove your innocence.??
