Yes! Respect all and not a doctor and have read everything everyone else has. Here is what I got out of it. Stay home alone until a vaccine 12-18 months or take your chance and get to living. I am the most at risk in my family other than my mother of 86 whom I havent seen her face to face in over a month. I see my daughter everyday even tho she doesnt want to as her account is Prisma. I would rather have one day with her than 1000 without her. Spot the ball!

If I am still attending church remotely, I am unlikely to attend a Clemson game in person. I've paid for my tickets. I support the Tigers.
I am not particularly worried about my own health but it seems irresponsible to knowingly engage in activities that increase the danger to many others. I don't drive while drunk for the same reasons.
Go Tigers!

A fair perspective. In my case, if my wife wanted to go, I

would say, "Go, let me worry about me. I want you to go." That being the case, if she said the same to me, knowing her low risk level, I might do the same. As to my parents, if i went to the game I would have to show no symptoms for 2 weeks before I saw them again.
So, to require an either/or, yes/no, answer regarding other people is too simplistic, at least for me. It is not yes/no. Precautions can be taken, the right of others to take risks has to be accounted for.
But a person can certainly decide to not go, erring on that side of caution regarding other people. That is, of course, a perfectly good way to look at it. Would have my support, even if I decided another way.

If I could afford the ticket, yes. People die on the way to or coming from events all the time. some have even died at our games. Precautions can be maintained, but life goes on. Especially on a bright sunny day The most likely places to contact the virus is in the bathroom areas. There are lines. and social distancing would not be maintained. But such is life. Yah gotta go, yah gotta go.

If SC has the infection rate under control by then, perhaps. It also remains to be seen what kind of precautions the university puts in place.
Right now, I'd say unlikely. South Carolina's just recently started to slow the rate of known new infections, but the mortality rate continues to climb (4.4% as of yesterday). And widespread testing is still unavailable.

So the mortality rate is lower than what you just wrote. You just said it yourself, there is no testing. Think of the many people who 1. Have it and don’t even know it. 2. Have it, but can’t get tested.
Mortality rate is under 1. Bunch of babies. Open the country.

I understand what you're saying, but you can't claim to know to mortality rate is lower than 4.4% until you can prove it, and without testing you can't prove it. I look forward to the time when mass testing is available and as a result the mortality rate is lowered significantly, but until then, it's all conjecture.

I'm under 50 and I'm not concerned about my health, but I definitely wouldn't want to be responsible for making my mother, brothers, sisters in law other ill. So, no. I probably won't go unless I had a way to make sure I could be tested before seeing them. I THINK/HOPE this will be the case by football season, but as of now, it's not.
So, it's a no for me. how you base so much on someone's personal health decision is amazing to me.

It's already difficult for me to get up there anyway. I live 4 hours away and have 3 young children (youngest is 16 months). I was going to try to make one this year, but this is the extra nudge that will certainly keep me at home now. It's really just not worth it for me. I'm just hoping that we will have Clemson football to watch on TV.
I will also add that my sister, who works with me, was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease last year. We still don't even know the full extent of it as the doctors have had trouble even pinpointing what, exactly, she has. Right now they just know from text results that she has one and it's causing arthritis in a 33 year old.
I am being very cautious right now, not because I'm worried about myself, but because i would never forgive myself if i got her sick and she somehow wasn't able to fight this off because of her condition.

AND THIS IS HOW IT ALL STARTED
?? For those of you who don't know about history ... Here is a condensed version: Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the ocean and river systems and live on fish and lobster in the winter. The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups: 1 . Liberals 2. Conservatives. Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed. Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to BBQ at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement... Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement. Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. They became known as girlie-men. Some note worthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer. Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the #######! Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule in baseball because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat. Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Bud or Miller. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big game hunters, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, engineers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living. Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing. Here ends today's lesson in world history: It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it. A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to #### them off. And there you have it. Let your next action reveal your true self.....I'm going to have another beer??????

and I ended up getting it. At the time my son was a little less than a year old, and if you recall children were dying from it. So while the flu wasn't awful for me I had to be quarantined off from my family and I was terrified that I was going to pass it to my son. So his precautions in avoiding crowds to protect his sister seem justified and not deserving of an obtuse response.

get my little cough and fever, stay home for a couple weeks, and not have to worry about it come June.
Will they give me a "safe" card? Can I use it to get a seat at the bar at BWW? Get my hair cut?

Looks like the vast majority of new cases are coming from those staying at home. Spot the ball.

A lot my immediate family falls in the high risk cat. if i did, i'd go knowing that I'd need to plan on not seeing them for 2+ weeks just to be sure. so maybe in September, not in October so that Thanksgiving is less stressful. LOL

No desire to go to China, but if I had to in order to see the Tigers play, I would attend a game in Wu-freaking-han China.

really suck to do something that has a high potential to infect others _ especially at risk relatives.
In general, support and comfortable with outdoor activities. High density, indoor activities are more concerning.
Come September, there will be a lot more info.

Who told you there would or even might be.
I'll be attending no matter what b/c it's my choice to take the risk, just like when I get in my car and drive to the game.
