Bad decision

1) would be a distraction
2) Probably put a weird energy into the coaches meetings and that would project onto the team.


Besides, per Dabo, he said Brandon has had lots of opportunities to leave for other schools and the NFL. He'll land on his feet when he's ready.

Put yourself in his shoes for a moment. He spent 15 years with the program. He had one year as OC where statistically speaking he did improve from the year before. He probably feels like he is getting more blame than he deserves and probably feels part of that is because his boss made some decisions and called some plays that he had to just go along with. He maybe even feels like a sacrificial lamb at this point or a scapegoat.

Did it ever occur to you that he most likely is ready to just move on and put this behind him? That certainly is what occurs to me.
