Evening Tigers!
Haven’t seen a ton of your games this year, but I’ve certainly seen enough in the past to understand what a tall task is waiting for our squad.
Was able to catch a little bit of the FSU game last night though, and Will Shipley is a scary dude. Runs with a purpose and hits 5th gear in a hurry.
We’re pretty beat up on D right now. But we’ve played strong, regardless of who’s been on the other sideline.
Offensively - Anae & Beck from Virginia have been tremendous. Our offense has been much more efficient and effective than in recent years (since Dungey really).
I hold no illusions as to where we stand, but hey, that’s why you play the game. Looking forward to rolling the ball out there and seeing where the chips fall!

Lol - Upstate NY. About 15 minutes outside of Syracuse.
I think we can all agree on one thing - NJ sucks.

You will find there are geographically challenged fans here.
Had a roommate at Clemson from Manlius, NY back in the day as well. Visited a few times. Upstate NY has some very beautiful places.
Welcome aboard for the week. I look forward to a good game.

Thank you, looking forward to it!
I’m glad you got to come up, Manlius is close to where we are. We get lumped in with NYC a lot when we head South. As you saw, quite a bit different.

think that Syracuse is anywhere near - or anything like - New York City.
That’s really sad.

I’m glad all northerners know exactly where Clemson is. Clemson N.C.

There are plenty of northerners with no knowledge of geography either.

But that has nothing to do with the OP’s post, so I’m not sure why you brought it up.
You seem overly sensitive about this.

The OP’s post was about football. You seem really confused about this.

I grew up in Binghamton, NY (please don't hold it against me!) about an hour south if Syracuse. Applied to several schools for an Architecture major and was accepted, but found this school in SC that was in the top 3 of Schools of Architecture in the country at the time, was accepted, but told me I could major in anything but Architecture. I wrote back and said that's the only major I'm interested in, life-long dream, etc., and that I was scheduled to take my AAT (Architectural Aptitude Test) at Syracuse Univ in February - which I took in Slocum Hall, their school of Arch., and absolutely aced it. They replied and said, ok sure, you can major in Arch. I ended up with a double major in Arch. and English... and received the finest education at Clemson that God and the USA has ever offered.
I live in Spartanburg and have a number of friends here that hail from Syracuse (ironically all strong Tiger fans, but with a heart-felt sympathy for the wrong orange... I guess there's no place like home.) For the last fifty years my home is the Upstate of SC. I graduated and never left (but for a five year hiatus), and I reared (not raised) my family here in S'burg, and expect to die here, God willing. I have a lot of history with Syracuse, but far more with Clemson, and my blood runs orange - the real orange!
This should be a barn burner of a game - who woulda' thought? - and I hope our Tigers are doing the burning! I appreciate a friendly post from an opposing fan, and wish the best for SU in all games but this one next Saturday.
Go Tigers!!!
