Wow. Fielding chaos abounds. Throwing error, Vieira dropping the ball, confusion on who’s covering 2nd, and LF had no business throwing to home allows runner to take second. 4-0 Charlotte T2 and only one out.

Seems like each season the fundamentals of fielding keep declining. I think the team’s play reflects on how they train. The athletes are too talented to play so poorly.

Has coach Rittman done an interview yet,not the one that he did before the season began but after games.Me myself I have not seen any and I have gone on youtube to check because in the past seasons you could go to clemsontigers.com and youtube to listen to him talk about the games,mostly wins though.I would just like to know what he has to say about the current play of the team.

I do agree with you. If they can can clean up the defensive issues and get someone other than Basinger pitching well, their going to be fine. I don't quite understand why Duncan is not getting more opportunity, but I am not at practice either.

I sure hope their young freshman Avery Shamblin is going to be ok. Didn't they show her mum getting out the stands to be with her. She pitched pretty good vs Auburn.
Pulling hard for our former coach Courtney. She's sharp.

If one the 3 pitchers used wears down or gets injured, Rittman will have a bigger mess. None of our staff can go more than 2 innings.
