The touchdown pass DJ threw in the State game is the ONLY TD pass all year, (discounting sc state ...which shouldn’t have been played)
Four major games and our Heisman quarterback has thrown ONE TD pass. And the coaches say he is the man! Something smelling in Denmark and it ain’t the fish!

Here is what I think could happen if DJ don't get it together by the end of the season, Cade could come in as a true freshman and take the starting spot from DJ. We saw TL16 come in as a True Freshman and take the starting spot from starter Kelly Bryant, and he had a 100% better season than what DJ is having, and it appears that Cade is a much better passer, and runner than DJ has proven to be so far this season!!!

DJ isn’t going anywhere as long as he is the starting QB. And he IS going to be the starter regardless of the teams success or lack of it. The coaches say that he IS the guy. That tells me all I need to know.

I think his response was a scenario that he can envision for next season.
He wasn't saying anything is going to change this season.

when he has had opportunities over the years. It’s like the people wanting Hunter Johnson to start over Kelly Bryant. Kelly Bryant was not a great QB but when things played out later on down the road throughout both of their careers it was obvious why HJ did not start over KB. What I have seen out of TP makes it pretty obvious to me why he doesn’t start over DJ. If you couple that with an injury that under normal circumstances takes a year to heal it’s very easy to see why he’s not playing. Like Dabo says,”We got who we got.” Since that is the case how bout throwing your support behind a coach and his decision since he has won you two national championships. DJ has been bad but he cares, he works hard and he didn’t drop any passes thrown to him accurately. He represents Clemson well with his character even if he isn’t a good QB right now. He has my support as a person and I believe that there’s good reason why the coaches don’t pull him. Next year if Cade is the better option, which I believe he will be, he will get the start over DJ just like TL got the nod over KB.

Personally, Think our backup who has grown a lot in the last year should be given some reps to see how he will do but I trust Dabo & his knowledge.
He built the program, he is the best coach in college football period minus Nick Saban & I’d rather have Dabo!
