To be fair they did say FSU starters were very good and bullpen sucked. That seemed right last night. This starter has a low pitch count through 3 so we may not make it to the bullpen though.

Oh no the offense is definitely bad. We don’t have a hitter over .300. Every team we play has at least one .400 hitter. I was just saying only chance we have is to get to the bullpen it seems like.

They won’t have to use the bullpen the way this is going. All we’re doing is hitting ground balls right to their infielders. I think they probably see harder hit balls in practice.

Been waiting 45+ games to see it . This is not a slump it is a season long issue . Don’t know if it’s a talent issue, coaching , or what but it has gotten worse as the season winds down .

You are right. The problem was masked somewhat earlier this season due to the number of walks & hit by pitches they were getting, but as these better teams come along they are not giving up many free passes. So it has become so much more apparent & obvious how poor this team is on offense.

It’s bad enough that they yet to have a hit yet, but they haven’t even hit a ball hard yet. Here’s something interesting a saw today 7 of the 9 FSU players in the 9 man lineup tonight have higher batting averages than Clemson’s highest batting average. Clemson has to have pitching there’s no way they can out slug this team.
