Yeah, I think it's time to cut bait and get a pick for him. His lingering hamstring injuries this past season really messed with the offensive chemistry and made things more difficult for Deshaun/Nuk.

The OL actually improved a lot this past season and will be even stronger next year and beyond. Tunsil is the best young LT in the game, Howard had a strong rookie season at RT, and Scharping, also a rookie, graded out very highly on the interior. Not to mention, they have C Nick Martin under contract for a few more years.
I think Sammy would shine there, especially if they dump Fuller in a trade for draft capital/defensive help. The Texans' biggest weaknesses at the moment are DL depth and CB. And it's no guarantee Reader returns with a lot of teams after him right now in free agency.

If Deshawn was playing under the right system he could flourish. That coach lacks the ability to establish an offensive system and luckily pure talent has helped him from time to time. They need a new leader.

They have a good one, honestly. They'll be a top-10 unit in the league this upcoming season. Tunsil's an All-Pro at LT and they have a couple of rookies in Howard (1st rounder in '19) and Scharping that graded out very highly in their first years in the league. Injurires hampered them over the course of the season, but when all three of those guys + C Nick Martin were healthy, they actually strung together a multi-game streak without surrendering a single sack.

Having Sammy and DeAndre on the same team would be great as long as both players understand that they are not taking away from each other. The more Clemson players on this team the better !!! Love the Texans but Deshaun needs better coverage to keep him safe from injuries.
