All The Army Battalions I Served In Had Chaplains

Integrated Chaplains were a lifesaver, it gave the religious a central figure of faith and kept the reason we are on this planet front of mind. For the non-religious they still proved to be great counselors.

Well you can say two if you add in his ego.

I cant believe people even attend service at that place after the story that came out about his leadership harassing a man just because he disagreed with what was happening at NS. Tried to get him fired tried to ruin his personal life and tried to make him move. Noble NEVER apologized for any of his church leaderships actions.

I attended NS with some friends when I attended Clemson.

Nice try. Way to avoid the bottom part of my post. Your "pastor" set a really good example.

I am not a NS member, and do not attend their services on a regular basis. I prefer a more traditional worship setting, but, in Florence NS has been a true blessing to the community. The church has been there to minister to the unchurched of the community and a many of people that would not have received Christ have found salvation with the help of this church.

A better question is why you are talking about a preacher at all. The seperation of church and football is every bit as crucial to national security as the seperation of church and state ... and many on this board don't seem to get either point.
