By Far... Favorite Uniform Combo

Now is not the time to consider other uniform combinations, but I would like to highlight the best combo with respect to overall style and visual appeal.
Helmet: Orange
Jersey: White
Pant: Purple
I would love to see this combo used more often next season.
(Also a big fan of 'business suits')

shirts. That one time a year is okay because somebody finally got the bright idea to tie it to Military day. We've spent so much time crafting the solid Orange image that a uniform with almost no orange goes against it.

That looks terrible, in my opinion. I hate having three different colors (orange on white on purple.) In one combination. Duke has done that (white pants, black jersey, blue helmet) as well as a few others. I am just not a fan. I like either our traditional home orange on white, the all white road uniforms, and on occasion all orange, all purple, and the white on orange from FSU, 2013 Orange Bowl, etc. I'm not a fan of the other combinations.

I like those , but the purple pants should have an orange stripe on either side of a white stripe , running down the legs.

If you examine our orange pants they need a purple stripe along with the white. Same for our white pants. Use purple as an accent color.

The orange pants have two purple stripes and a white stripe in the middle. Is that what you're talking about? As for the white pants, I disagree. I don't think there needs to be any purple accents on the all whites, because orange is our main color, so when wearing white we need a lot of orange on there too. I personally think adding purple to the pants would ruin the look.

I agree, but...
I was merely pointing out that when you use white jerseys, it makes combining a orange and purple more appealing. It serves as a neutral color in between two dominant colors.

I respect your traditionalist opinion.
I was just stating proven elements of design as it relates to the integration of purple into our uniforms.
Fortunately, football isn't a beauty pageant.
