Baseball To Do List
Clemson will officially name a new head baseball coach this week and the new coach will find some things in place for long term success. He will also find some things are broken. Here a few items I would like to see addressed in the Clemson baseball program:

it was about 2-3 yrs ago. A season ticket holder that sits on 3rd base line was yelling at jack after some crazy call jack had made about base running and a player getting thrown out at 3rd. On his way back to the dugout, Jack was yelling back at the fan. The fan held his own and did not give up...actually other season ticket holders started, too. It lasted about a minute. Another coach came out of dug out and got jack. Next day Jack was on a radio show and mentioned the "fans" in not a nice manner. He tried to get the fan's season tickets taken away but that failed. This fan and his family have been season ticket holders in baseball, football and basketball for over 20 years

Monte will push the camo hats/uniforms pretty hard. He pushed it at CofC the whole time and they wore them on a pretty regular basis. not my personal taste, but I'm not in charge.
Also CofC wears grey away and white at home. No pinstripes, but they do use the stripe down the leg.

As bad as that look is, NEVER is the school colors/pink camo acceptable.

Nope....face it folks you have to cater to recruits if you want them to play for your program. Sad to say, but that is the day in time we live. A new look could go a long way in making this program relevant once again.

let me get this straight, I have gone to every home game in the past ten years. Every time Tigerrag is played i pump my fist with the rest of my friends. By friends i mean the other 80,000 doing the same. I have my shed full of Clemson memorabilia have a Clemson flag flying in my yard. Named my new dog Watson, but since i dont agree with the ignorance that is Clemtiger117 I'm not a Clemson fan. Come on #### smoker sit the #### down

years ago, with white pants. Looked good then, probably would still look good. About 2/3 of our team were Clemson grads, so it was an easy sell. We had no coots.

If you want gray and black ....go to a school who's colors are gray and black.

That is if the "Helmet Concept" posts didn't already jump it.
Seriously... I normally like Mickey and I can agree with a few things in the post. However, the Uniforms and Fan Friendly paragraphs I found unnecessary. I agree to some extent with removing Omaha off the hats until it is earned back. I don't want Gray in the uniforms... no thanks. And while Jack made a few comments about the fans at times, I'm not aware of the incident Mickey is referring to and I generally think that Jack did a good job with the fans that actually went to games. Dabo has made comments about fans and we're not talking about his need to be more "fan friendly."

We need to coach and play better and leave the uniforms alone, no friggin' grey. no pinstripes, etc. Leave that crap to the Oregon's, Coots, etc. Our colors are our colors, so, NO.
