Best sports movie imo. May turn that or field of dreams on tonight. Another classic that's rarely known is "Junction boys" telling about Bear Bryant and his hardcore A&M summer camp. Any others you love or recommend? Thanks.

There's an old Bing Crosby movie called Homecoming or something like that where they have a big bonfire and pep rally to beat the Gamecocks.

The Legend of Bagger Vance and then Moneyball, both good (my opinion) Issue that I have with football based movies is that I'd just want to watch the actual games instead.

Good lord the legend of baggage Vance is probably the worst movie of all time…. No one has a real golf swing in it.

I have over 1000 dvd movies. So, I have watched lots of movies. I especilly like movies based on True stories.
In no particular order my favs are:
Rudy (best FB movie ever made) Hoosiers (best Baskyball movie ever made & Gene Hackman is great) Blind side Radio (Anderson, SC HS team) Bagger Vance The Rookie The Greatest Game Ever Played For Love of the Game Coach Carter Miracle Remember The Titans We are Marshall Seven Days In Utopia Invincible Facing The Giants Glory Road Woodlawn Bobby Jones Stroke Of Genius When The Game Stands Tall The Natural The Final Season Trouble with the curve 12 Mighty Orphans
Greater The story of Brandon Burlsworth, possibly the greatest walk-on in the history of college football. (Until Renfrow came along and was awarded the Burlsworth Trophy.) A great movie. A kleenex movie. True story.
99% of these movies are based on true stories.
