It now seems fairly obvious that we hired CBV primarily to get Jake's commitment, so how long is CBV's leash these days? It makes sense to keep him at least through NSD so that Jake doesn't sign elsewhere. But what if our defense doesn't live up to expectations, and finishes below third in the country?
What then?
Some difficult decisions possibly ahead for CDS.

If he is the best DC in the country, why hasn't he been named head coach in waiting? Either he doesn't want to be a HC so he has no drive/initiative or Dabo is waiting to kick him to the curb after signing day.
