In short yardage or end zone package just put it up and let Ian go up and "rebound" a touchdown or first down. Shef will be an awesome addition to the TE room. I've been wanting a 7'0" dude just for situations like this and Ian can bring it down with no problem.

His eligibility is over, is it not?
He can play one year of another sport at Clemson after 4 years of the first sport.
That is the NCAA rule for eligibility for awhile now...

There's no cap anymore. Just a roster limit. Football can have 105 players on roster.

At 6'8" wonder what his vertical leap is?
His strength in hands and arms need to be outstanding because DB's will be hacking to knock the ball loose.
If not hacking then when he jumps they will go for the legs and that sudden stop on the ground will be jaw jarring.
Still would like to see him in the middle to block FG's.

That is what he was known for as such a strong rebounder. He has very strong hands. Coach Brownell used to say that all the time at post game interviews.
