I would like to td this from the aspect of being sorry you even were put in position to live this. I guess it would be a TD for war. That is more to the point I'm making.

Was in a meeting today with a teacher who has one more day to go- she had on a specially made t-shirt and has another for tomorrow. I work as a school psychologist and there is a shortage so districts are always looking for anyone they can find.

I taught for two years. In the first year I learned that good effective teaching is founded upon a calling and is not simply a vocation. I also learned in that year that I didn't have that calling. By the end of the second my admiration for those who had the call and applied it had greatly grown. I certainly admire your accomplishment.

You do the stuff that you worked and saved for all of your life. You also get your traveling done. Retirement will be what you make of it. I have lunch with my friends which was something that I could not do as a teacher. Morning trips to the gym, pickleball, and Mahjong are also during the workday activities that I enjoy. Travel, Travel, Travel. Go have fun!!! Congratulations!!!

Not to put you on the spot, but as a parent of elementary school children now what has been the biggest positive change you have seen over your time in the education system and what is the biggest negative to the current education system in your own personal opinion?
