I said when Shane was hired that it took his dad 7 years to turn the corner at VT and build them into a powerhouse that lasted almost 20 years, but that coot fans wouldn't be nearly that patient and would fire him long before that.

I think he's in a tough situation, trying to navigate the mess college football is in with the putrid NIL and transfer rules in addition with what he is working with at Carolina. You have some darn good players...I was amazed with that beast Anderson's grit; Caldwell stood out. Rattler impressed with a number of his throws and runs. The defense has several beasts.
I know they've had some success recruiting and believe the Carolina folks need to give him more time to develop his team, as well as his grasp of the game and his grasp of head coach personna.

I feel like in this day and age if you are paying players to play that it’s fair game to single them out for failures. Don’t give me the college kid student stuff. If you are being paid you are a professional and are open to individual, specific criticisms of your play. If you can’t handle the heat don’t take the money.
