Not going to lie. This feels different than the Muschamp years. I think they are here to stay.
If Rattler and Wells come back, watch out. He has his culture established. They play hard. They play physical. They are creative on offense, defense, and especially special teams.

They went 4-8 and 2-8 in the 2 years prior to Beamer becoming the head coach. He’s about to go 9-4 in his second year with two wins over top 10 teams and Notre Dame to finish the season.
We crushed Muschamp in his 2nd season, on the road. Beamer beat us, at home.

They are totally different coaches. Beamer is in the mold of Dabo. It’s incredible to see how fast they improved. The gap is closing.
If they sign that 5 star kid from DC and add a couple of transfers, they’ll sign a better recruiting class than us for the first time in over a decade.

You’re wrong. South Carolina is Beamer’s dream job. Muschamp used them as a stepping stone. Beamer wanted this job. That was obvious in his first press conference.

He did say that but I would be surprised if it’s where he ends up long term if he continues to win. Why would he stay there if he got an offer from a big time program

I've always thought Beamer was a better hire than Muschamp, and maybe he'll do great things there but I think the jury is certainly still out.
The light coming on for them against Tennessee and Clemson is certainly impressive, but it's hard to tell how much of that is overall coaching vs. Rattler coming alive. It's hard to understand what happened with Rattler over the first 10 games compared to the past 2.
If they continue rolling this way then Beamer certainly has them going in the right direction, but to be fair it's hard to ignore their 23-10 loss to Missouri at home and the 38-6 loss to Florida, especially when those 2 games were also in the 2nd half of the season. Again, I'll give them credit for moving past those performances to finish the way they did, but it's not as if they've been steadily improving throughout the course of the entire season.
They've honestly had one of the most confusing seasons I've seen a team have with how different they've looked at points of the season compared to other points of the season. The closet comparison I can think of is how we finished up our 2003 season.
