Bachelors degree in college football

If the NFL refuses to drop the age requirements, there should be a degree requirement for the NFL or a lower minimum salary for those without a degree. Just like every other professional career, I have to show competence in the profession before being paid at the highest level.

And yes that all starts with NIL regulations…

NIL regulations are illegal under federal law.

That's why there aren't any.

Even a federal antitrust exemption won't change that.

Private companies can stipulate rules for participating…yes it would require antitrust examination but contracts exist that limit NIL sponsors based on league standards.

Agree with current state and it will be difficult

Portal control is the key. Need to penalize a portal 'jumper' a year at least, also, the losing school should get 25%-50% of the value of the athlete from the poaching school.

Personally, I agree, but it can’t happen without a CBA for college athletes. At that point, it’s truly NFL jr and the players are no longer students, they are officially employees of the school. The old days are gone and the courts won’t let them come back.

Agree…ties to university credits would help. Also standardizing “salaries” for essentially internship programs would limit bidding for players.
