Heres a list of some of the things evil Musk found wrong with USAID
Feb 7, 2025, 7:57 PM
|
|
Here is the list Leavitt brought to the briefing.
$2 million
for sex changes and "LGBT activism" in Guatemala.
$6 million
to fund tourism in Egypt.
Spent
$20 million on “Ahlan Simsim” — a new Sesame Street show in Iraq.
Over $4.5 million
to “combat disinformation” in Kazakhstan.
Up to $10 million
worth of USAID-funded meals went to al Qaeda-linked terrorist group the Nusra Front.
$500,000
to group that “empowers women” in an attempt to solve sectarian violence in Israel just 10 days before Hamas’s Oct. 7 attacks. Awarded nearly $25 million
to Deloitte to promote green transportation in Georgia (the country).
$4.67 million
to EcoHealth Alliance, one of the key nongovernmental organizations funding bat virus research at Wuhan Institute of Virology, in late 2021. Later refused
to answer key questions about the funding.
$20 million
for the Strengthening Transparency and Accountability through Investigative Reporting program which used the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project as its implementing partner. The OCCRP was cited four times in the whistleblower letter that led to the Russiagate impeachment.
USAID’s 2022-2030 climate strategy
outlined a $150 billion “whole-of-Agency approach” to building an "equitable world with net-zero greenhouse gas emissions."
$7.9 million
to a project that would teach Sri Lankan journalists to avoid “binary-gendered language.”
$1.1 million
to an Armenian LGBT group.
$1.2 million
to the African Methodist Episcopal Church Service and Development Agency in Washington, D.C., to build “a state-of-the-art 440-seat auditorium.”
$1.3 million
to Arab and Jewish photographers.
to promote LGBT advocacy in Jamaica.
$1.5 million
to “rebuild” the Cuban media ecosystem.
$1.5 million
for “art for inclusion of people with disabilities.”
$2 million
to promote “LGBT equality through entrepreneurship … in developing Latin American countries.”
$2.1 million
so the BBC can strengthen the media ecosystem in Libya, “designed to value the diversity of Libyan society.”
$2.3 million
for “artisanal and small-scale gold mining” in the Amazon.
$2.5 million
to promote “inclusion” in Vietnam.
$3.9 million
to LGBT causes in the Western Balkans.
$5.5 million
to LGBT in Uganda.
$6 million
to advance LGBT in “priority countries around the world.”
$6 million
to “Transform Digital Spaces to Reflect Feminist Democratic Principles.”
$6.3 million
to men who have sex with men in South Africa.
$8.3 million
for “USAID Education: Equity and Inclusion.”
Another $16.8 million
to a separate group in Vietnam for “inclusion.”
I’m guessing all of this is a lie and made up?

Get ready. When TheRump and the SmellyMusk get the employees that they want fired, checks from the Feds for Soc Security, Medicare, Veterans retirement, Tri-Care, MedicAid will get all screwed-up. Hiring MAGAoids off the streets to do the govt work they can't (mentally) do will be a sad, sad saga. If you're living on Soc Sec, you should be very scared. Not to mention that under Biden's economy the unemployment sank to 3.8%. (FoxFakeNews didn't tell you this, but that was the lowest unemployment in 50 years.) There are not people out there looking for jobs.
And with no fruit and vegetable pickers the price of groceries will soar. Of the bureaucrats they want to remove, probably more than half are buying a house. The banks will think it's 2008 all over again. Foreclosing on houses will soar all across the US as there are many US govt employees in every state.

It's a start; more to come 👍
You, sir, have no idea of the shatstorm you are about to go through. Good luck; you will need it. But -- you deserve it. You believed every lie TheRump told you. (He's only lying when his mouth is moving. Most people know that. Somehow, MAGAoids never learned to fact-check. Sad. You will be so disappointed. Will you admit you were wrong to vote for TheRump? Now, too much pride.

So you really had no realistic idea. I wanted to stay out of Iraq and didn't believe in nation building and didn't believe in the WMD's there. I am sure you were pretty clueless at the time and thought it was needed. You know that's true. You're a very cliche and stereotypical dude that's easy to predict.

post stuff like this, or when the press secretary goes up to the podium and tells Americans that we spent $50 million on condoms for Gaza. Anyone with an ounce of critical thinking knows that’s not true. And it’s a shame, because there absolutely is wasteful spending in our government, but no rational person will take them seriously and support rooting it out when they go around yelling nonsense like that.

but when you lie like they are and work at a breakneck speed to prevent oversight, it makes you question what the motive is and that's where the concern and issue with Elon/Trump is on this. If Trump set up a bipartisan task force or something and took his time to focus on transparency and doing things the right way he actually could do some real good and win over lots of doubters. But the lying and obfuscating that are typical of TrumpCo. should alarm all level-headed and rational people.

I am certainly not saying that there aren’t things that might be worth cutting, but why in the world are we believing a non-transparent organization run by a billionaire who is known to lie, overpromise, and take credit for things outside his control?
This list is crafted for outrage. Without any decent examination of the actual budget items, I see no reason to take it at face value.

And reporting out the wasteful spending.
He did that in what, 1 week? Why didn't they take a week, find all of the low hanging fruit and kill that funding as a first step versus stopping all funding across the board.
That's the major problem I have with Trump...not what is being done (in general) but how...his execution is sloppy and destructive to his cause. The big ticket programs, like battling AIDS in Africa, for example, are directly apportioned by Congress. When the Dems take the WH at some point...are you going to complain when that admin ignores the role of Congress and the laws that have been enacted by them?

"The big ticket programs, like battling AIDS in Africa, for example"
Most of the problem is that the $$$ is NEVER getting to these causes in the first place. It's a scam.
That's why I brought up Chelsea. Her org provides food for needy Africans. When looking at the expenditures/meals, it comes out to around $1200 per meal. And her new worth has exlpoded. With no other "job" listed. It's a crap money laundering operation using our own tax dollars to support dem candidates. Nothing more.
"I mean, you could, you could almost say — this is a little bit hyperbole — but there's probably more dollars that go towards state dinners around the (Washington) D.C. Beltway than what actually goes into rice and beans abroad," Mast said. But he said during the Trump administration, "It's going to be 99.99% of cents on the dollar actually go towards what it's intended, instead of people around the Beltway."

This is almost certainly totally made-up crap by the Republicans.
Remember, these are the same MAGAoids that investigated President Biden for almost 2 years (wasting $50,000,000 and a lot of time) and didn't even bother to publish a report -- BECAUSE THEY FOUND NOTHING TO MAKE A LEGITIMATE CASE ON. But most people knew that would happen, because most people DON'T BELIEVE the constant barage of lies from. TheRump, FoxFakeNews and OAN. (EVEN though he lies about it, TheRump got 49.5% of the 2024 votes. Not a majority...)
Of course, in the defense of the GOP committee investiating the Bidens, they were using the Kenneth Star playbook from the Whitewater investigation. That investiagation went on forever, found nothing and wasted $55M, back in the 1990s. That would be about $100M in today's dollars. The House Republicans are crooks that waste time and money and never do anything good for the American people! And, yet, the MAGAoids fall for their BS the after time. Where's the cheaper groceries and gasoline from TheRump? Did he end the war in the Ukraine on his first day in office?
No. And TheRump's worldwide DEPRESSION is cranking up. Grocery costs are about to go sky-high. (Not that TheRump cares. He and his cronies are getting rich.)
